Prestige is added by leveling up that particular element (character, division, or weapon) to the maximum rank.

What keeps people coming back for match after match of run and gun action? Besides the frantic trench warfare and ability to unlock awesome streak kill weapons, its the ability to level up and gain prestige. If fighting waves of Nazi zombies in co-op aren't your thing, there's the player versus player mode to dive into.
